Introducing 5 New Features to Increase Your Reach

At TextMyGov, we are constantly working to enhance our services and respond to the evolving needs of our customers. We deeply value the feedback we receive and use it as a guide as we innovate and develop new products and features. In 2025, we’ve introduced several exciting updates designed to improve the way municipalities communicate with their residents and make city management easier.

Introducing Spanish Translations for All Users

One of the most requested features, Spanish Translation, is now available across all versions of the TextMyGov platform. This feature ensures that municipalities can better engage with their Spanish-speaking residents. With just one click, users can translate One Response Words and all responses into Spanish, enhancing communication and accessibility for all communities. This feature is included in every TextMyGov package, so both current and future customers can take full advantage of it.

Survey Feature for Collecting Citizen Feedback

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our long-anticipated Survey feature. Municipalities can now create custom surveys with a variety of question types. Whether you need to gather feedback on community services or conduct a public opinion poll, TextMyGov surveys make it easy. There is even an option to conduct an NPS survey, which is similar to an employee satisfaction survey or customer satisfaction survey for your municipality. These surveys can be distributed quickly via a simple link or QR code. Results are readily accessible with basic data analysis tools, empowering municipalities to make informed decisions based on community feedback.

Reach EVERYONE with Automated Voice Alerts

While TextMyGov has traditionally focused on text-based communication, we’re excited to broaden our reach with the introduction of Voice Alerts. This new feature allows users to send messages as automated phone calls, ensuring important information is delivered to residents who may not have access to mobile phones or prefer landline communication. Voice Alerts’ automated calling system ensures that municipalities can reach all residents, regardless of their communication preferences.

Reduce Spam Concerns with the Digital Contact Card

To enhance trust and combat spam, we’ve introduced the Contact Card feature. This tool allows municipalities to send residents a digital contact card that can be saved directly to their phones. This helps verify the authenticity of communications from the municipality and provides a reliable way for residents to connect with official sources. The Contact Card is included in the Enhanced Media Care Package, providing an extra layer of security for residents and encouraging them to use the 10-digit number to find information and report issues. Please contact your Client Relations Specialist or text GET QUOTE to 435-250-3TMG to learn more.

Simplify Urgent Messaging with Facebook Integration

To streamline communication and reduce the number of steps required to notify the public, TextMyGov now integrates with Facebook. When sending a notification message, users can now quickly draft a Facebook post directly from their account. With just a click, a post will appear on the user's Facebook page, making it faster and easier to share important updates with the community.

These new features reflect our ongoing commitment to improving communication between municipalities and their residents. At TextMyGov, we’re proud to keep innovating and adapting to meet the needs of our users. We believe these close, trusting relationships with clients are why TextMyGov remains one of the top govtech companies in the US. Stay tuned for even more exciting updates to come!
