Sheppard Sonntag has been with TextMyGov for over a year, beginning as a Digital Marketing Specialist and now serving as the Social Media Marketing Manager. He is a proud graduate of Utah State University, earning degrees in International Studies, Journalism, and Portuguese in 2023. Before joining TextMyGov, Sheppard spent several years living abroad in Europe, Central Asia, and the South Caucasus and gained valuable experience working with Public Information Offices in New York and Utah. He brings a strong passion for continuous learning and strives to understand people on a deeper level to create meaningful and impactful connections through his work.

Emma Conway joined TextMyGov in April 2024 as a Client Relations Specialist. Though she treasured the relationships she built with her clients in that role, she became a Digital Marketing Specialist for the company earlier this year. Emma’s unique history working closely with clients allows her to make client-informed decisions with the marketing team. She strives to create clear and helpful content that makes the jobs of her valued clients as simple as possible. Her professional history centers around copywriting and SEO research for various organizations in the financial industry. Emma moved from Salt Lake City to northern Utah last year to pursue her career with TextMyGov. She enjoys hiking and camping in the surrounding mountains with her husband and Australian Shepherd named Goose.

Jonathan Vargas is the Marketing Manager at TextMyGov, where he has worked for over three years creating effective visuals and leading successful marketing campaigns to support government communication. He recently graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Graphic Design. He brings a creative edge to his work, blending design expertise with knowledge of digital marketing and SEO strategy to maximize campaign performance. Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and unwinds by playing guitar in his free time.
