Introducing TextMyGov Packages

TextMyGov introduced new Core, EMA, and Premium packages to better match community communication needs and budgets, with potential free upgrades for existing clients.

This Christmas, TextMyGov’s present to all new and existing clients is a new package structure! Check with your Client Relations Specialist to see if you qualify for a free upgrade. 


What are Packages? 


The Core, EMA, and Premium packages are designed to provide agencies with the optimal set of features to meet their unique needs and budget. Individual prices and amount of text messages provided are determined by a TextMyGov representative. Price is based on population size and other factors.  


CORE: Includes the basics of everything needed to send and receive texts from residents. For smaller communities with limited communication needs.  


EMA: A comprehensive emergency preparedness package with wide-reaching, government-sanctioned text alerts. For Emergency Management Departments, Sherriff’s Offices, and communities with frequent emergencies.  


PREMIUM: A multi-channel communication package designed to reach every resident in any situation. For larger municipalities looking for an omnichannel communication tool to increase efficiency, accessibility, and trust within a community. 


I already have TextMyGov, does this apply to me? 


YES! You may qualify for a free upgrade! Do you have any of the following features included in your existing TextMyGov contract? 


  • IPAWS 
  • Weather Alerts 
  • The Enhanced Media Care Package 
  • Voice Calls 
  • Surveys 
  • TextMyGov Emails 

 If you do, contact your Client Relations Specialist to verify your free upgrade to the EMA or Premium Packages. All additional features included in those packages will be added to your account at no additional cost.  


If you do not have any of these features but would like to, upgrading to a more inclusive package is easy. Contact your Client Relations Specialist for more details.
